CORNWALL CREATIVE'S DIRECTORY

Creative Skills is proposing to set-up a practitioner directory area on the website and would value your feedback on the idea at this initial stage of planning.  Over the past seven years that Creative Skills has been in existence we have had increasing enquiries both from artists and outside organisations/individuals for us to recommend artists in Cornwall to undertake commissions or work.

Creative Skills is unable to recommend any one particular artist or business. However, so that
practioners in Cornwall can maximise on these requests we are proposing to host a Cornwall Creative's Directory area on our  website which will be open for all practitioners in Cornwall to subscribe to.

Our proposal is that for a subscription fee artists will be able to upload the following information to a specific Artist Directory area on the website:

• Name
• Address
• Tel No.
• Email Address
• Website Address
• Description of your work/services you offer
• An image of your work

Then in the future when we receive requests to recommend practitioners in specific areas we can direct them to our website to search the specific criteria themselves and make an informed, independent decision on who they would like to contact.  We will be planning a marketing strategy to advertise this resource to the wider community both county, region and nationwide.
