We all hear tales of mysterious European funds that are just waiting to be applied for, but as an individual or a small creative group it can feel is if they are only for men in suits and not for artists. This day is an opportunity to have European funding demystified. European funding can be a valuable way to enable projects and connections across Europe. Arranged by Cornwall Council's Europe Direct Information Centre, the half day event tailored to the Creative Sector will help you understand the funding that is available and how to apply. There will be helpful case studies from successful projects as well as speakers from EUCLID - an organisation that provides a range of European & international information, research & consultancy services, and Visiting Arts - who offer information, organise training and help establish opportunities to promote intercultural understanding for the arts.

The format of the sessions, designed in response to suggestions from previous attendees, will give you time to use the tips from the first session to develop a piece of writing that will be critiqued and improved in the second session.
