It provides comprehensive advice and information covering all areas of practice, including the presentation and selling of work; research and development of new work; funding advice and funding sources and ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Critical Network - Have a specific focus on activity in the UK and Ireland, concentrating on critical and contextual art, events and discussion. You can subscribe to their weekly e bulletin to receive information on opportunities and events.

an The Artists Information Company - The Artists Newsletter is the magazine of an, a support and advocacy organisation for visual artists and craftspeople. Subscription brings access to many member only resources on the website. The Artists Newsletter website has a full and comprehensive range of advice for their members. The site also contains information on networks, contacts and research data and has some interesting artist stories.

It is worth looking at the online artist’s toolkits, providing advice and resources for artists regarding frequently asked questions on topics such as contracts, pricing of work, fees and charges, continuing professional development.

ArtsAdmin - Artsadmin provides a comprehensive management service and unique national resource for contemporary artists who cross the spectrum of new theatre, dance, music, live art and mixed media work. Limited bursaries are on offer.

ALIAS - A developmental scheme targeted at artist’s groups and artist led initiatives in the South West. It is driven by a dialogue between the artists who work within it. Groups within ALIAS vary widely in the nature of their practice and structure.
