***NEW***
New Website for Authors to Publish WorkWebsite:
www.authonomy.com
The site has been developed by Harper Collins as a platform
for authors to
air and share their works and a community in which they can constructively comment on or critique the work
of fellow authors, with a view to helping authors improve and hone their
respective works. It also allows readers to review samples and perhaps even
'vote' for their favourite books. Authors are able to post either excerpts of
their books - 10K words or more in order to make the work public on the site -
or entire books, as they choose. Posting a book on the site does not affect any
of their rights and authors are free to continue to promote their work
elsewhere. There are other rules and conditions, but they are all answered in
the site's FAQs.
And as an added bonus, each month Harper Collins will
actually consider the Top 5 ranked books at month end.
