'Out of Nowhere: Recent Paintings by Noel Betowski' The Royal Cornwall Museum 15th October 2011 - 28th January 2012.

Artist Noel Betowski trained in Fine Art painting at The Central School of Art and London University ‘Institute of Education‘. He has been a professional painter since the mid 1980s exhibiting extensively at galleries which include ‘The Royal Academy’ (Summer Shows, Stowells Trophy) and 'The National Portrait Gallery'. In 1986 & 1987 Noel was a prize-winner of the ‘John Constable Landscape Competition' at The Camden Annual, Camden Arts Centre, Arkwright Road, London.

Noel Betowski was born in Tilbury, Essex in 1952.

1969-71 Thurrock Technical College. Foundation Course, Art & Design.
1973-76 The Central School of Art, London. B.A. Fine Art, Painting.
1976-77 London University. Institute of Education. A.T.C.
1981-85 Painting and teaching painting part time at ‘The City Literary Institute‘, Holborn, London and for Haringey Adult Education, London.
1987 Moved to West Cornwall. Painting full time.
