Accessing the Website

This website, with the exception of the contact and registration forms, does not store or capture personal information, but merely logs the user's IP address (Internet Protocol: standard allowing data to be transmitted between two devices) which is automatically recognised by the webserver. This site uses cookies to keep track of your browser session, otherwise, it does not collect any personal information about you except that required for system administration of the website.

This information may be shared with other arts organisations in Cornwall, although you can also opt out from this. Your registration information will be used only to provide you with postal information from Creative Skills

Registering as a member of Outhere

If you register as a member of Outhere, your name and email address will be sent by email to Creative Skills and will be held in our records. Creative Skills normally show your name with your contribution. Creative Skills may need to contact you for administrative or verification purposes in relation to your contribution, or in relation to particular projects.

Outhere Google map

When registering as a member of Outhere you will be asked for your studio or home address details so you can be located on the Google map, this is an optional field.  You can choose not to be located.  We suggest if you are using a home address rather than a studio address that you only provide the postcode and name of your nearest town if you do not want an exact locating marker.

How to Archive & Present Your Work

a one day workshop for visual artists

Led by artist Alice Mahoney

What will this workshop provide?…

Artists will learn basic fine art archive and conservation techniques and how to tailor presentation and archive methods to their specific needs. This will include good hinging and display methods as well as options in framing and mounting, things to avoid, and how to make archival presentation boxes and folders for portfolio and archive.

There will be valuable tips on archiving, presentation and general care in looking after artwork in storage, when transporting and when exhibiting. Artists will identify preferred storage and presentation methods for their artwork and create their own presentation and archive box.

Date: 21st June 2013

Cost: £30 (including £15 non refundable booking fee)

Time: 10.00am – 4.30pm
